Team India's star batter and Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill has cleared the air on his relationship status after being recently asked about his wedding plans. The right-handed batter said it's baffling to hear reports about him getting linked with someone who he has never mot or seen in his life.
During the toss ahead of the IPL 2025 game against the Kolkata Knight Riders, commentator Danny Morrison had asked Gill if he has plans to get married but the Punjab-born cricketer smiled and denied it. The youngster has been linked with Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara on several occasions but neither of them have confirmed the relationship.
Speaking in an interview as quoted by NDTV, Gill has revealed that he has now been single for three years. He elaborated:
"I mean, I've been single for over three years. There have been so many speculations and rumours, linking me with different people. And sometimes, it's so ridiculous that I would have never even seen or met that person ever in my life. And I would be hearing rumours that, I'm with this person and this person where else I'd be like."

Gill also revealed that he is too ambitious at the stage of his career to have anyone in his life right now and invest time in.
"Like, I know I'm so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There is no space in my life to be with someone like 300 days a year. We are on the road travelling somewhere. So there is hardly any time to be able to be with someone or invest, you know, the time to be with someone in a relationship."
So far in IPL 2025, Gill has accumulated 305 runs in eight matches at 43.57.
