Australian opener Sam Konstas during an interview gave an honest take on his altercation with Team India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah during the final Test match in Sydney.
According to NDTV report, Konstas in an interview with Timple M Cricket said, "Oh, I didn't get too fazed. Unfortunately, Uzi got out. He was trying to buy some time a little bit. What Gautam Gambhir said on Konstas -Bumrah incident
Team India's head coach Gautam Gambhir opined that Konstas had no right to be involved when Bumrah was speaking to the umpire and Usman Khawaja over taking time.
He said, "It's a tough sport played by tough men. You can't be that soft. As simple as it can get. I don't think there was anything intimidating about it. He had no right to be talking to Jasprit Bumrah when Usman Khawaja was taking his time and no business to be involved with Jasprit Bumrah. It was the job of the umpire and the guy batting at the other end."

Konstas is one of the batters allowed by Cricket Australia to play a few Big Bash League (BBL) games before heading to UAE for a preparatory camp. He will play under the leadership of Sydney Thunder captain David Warner.
