Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Virat Kohli wore a special ring and performed the signature style of WWE star John Cena ahead of their showdown against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday. In a video shared by Royal Challengers' social media handle, the background music was also that of Cena's entrance theme.

The right-handed batter is arguably the most popular cricketer in their dressing room and has garnered appreciation from cricketers globally. The veteran cricketer started IPL 2025 with a well-drilled and unbeaten 59 against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as Bengaluru began their campaign with a bang. However, he struggled in the next two matches and will be keen to put things right at the Wankhede Stadium, which is expected to be packed for Monday's fixture.

"He is a man who has achieved everything possible in this sport" - Dinesh Karthik on Virat Kohli

Meanwhile, RCB mentor spoke about the greatness of Virat Kohli, claiming that players like him hardly need a coach and instead require as much support as possible. Karthik also said Kohli teaches him more than he does to the 36-year-old despite being a mentor. In a teaser release of RCB Podcast: Bold and Beyond, Karthik elaborated:

"Players like Virat don’t need coaching. I think it can be a bit overrated. What they need is support and care. They just want you as a coach to know that if I have a bad day, treat me the same. He is a man who has achieved everything possible in this sport. We want more out of him which is fair and he’s doing everything possible. So when I just stand behind the nets, I just observe, I watch, in fact, it’s only fair to say that it’s the other way around. He probably teaches me a little bit more than I teach him anything and so far I have taught him nothing."
