Mumbai Indians opener Rohit Sharma was seen addressing the team ahead of the all-important IPL 2025 Eliminator clash against the Gujarat Titans on Friday in Mullanpur. The right-handed batter was seen having a bit of an animated chat with the players, seemingly motivating them to give their best against the Titans.

Although Hardik Pandya is the official captain, Rohit has had a massive influence in Mumbai Indians' dominance, propelling them to five titles after taking over as skipper midway through the 2013 edition. The right-handed batter has over 300 runs this season but will be keen to play a big knock against the Titans to propel the five-time champions closer to the title.

Mumbai Indians win toss and Hardik Pandya opts to bat first

Meanwhile, the toss went in favour of the Mumbai Indians and Hardik Pandya opted to bat first. With Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks returning home for international duty, Jonny Bairstow and Richard Gleeson made their debuts for the Mumbai Indians. Additionally, Raj Angad Bawa replaced the injured Deepak Chahar.

The Titans triggered two changes to their XI, bringing in Kusal Mendis for Jos Buttler and Washington Sundar for Arshad Khan.
