In the IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants, Rishabh Pant became the talk of the internet after he jokingly pretended to slap Digvesh Rathi following a failed review against KL Rahul, taken after the LSG spinner's appeal.

The real-time footage suggested the impact was outside the wicket, and Rishabh Pant seemed uninterested in taking a review. However, Digvesh pushed for one, and the review ultimately confirmed the on-field decision, showing the impact was indeed outside, costing LSG a review.

Pant, visibly frustrated, scolded Digvesh and playfully made a gesture as if to slap him. The incident showcased the mounting pressure on Rishabh Pant, whose performance in the match was subpar.
