Lucknow Super Giants' skipper Rishabh Pant's reaction went viral after tailender Ravi Bishnoi inexplicably smashed a six off Jasprit Bumrah's bowling in the IPL 2025 game against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium. With Bishnoi raising his arms to celebrate, Pant pointed to him and laughed as a video of the same surfaced on social media.
The moment occurred in the 18th over of the innings as Bumrah was bowling his final ball of the spell. With the right-arm speedster sending down a length ball on off-stump, Bishnoi picked the length quickly and thumped the ball over long-on. Even as Pant and Zaheer Khan were seen smiling at the dugout, Bumrah couldn't control doing it either.

Bishnoi, nevertheless, fell for 13 in the very next over to Corbin Bosch, who took his maiden IPL scalp.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians produced an all-round performance, leaving the Super Giants dazed. Earlier in the game, Rishabh Pant had won the toss, with Ryan Rickelton (58) and Suryakumar Yadav (54) making half-centuries to propel their side to 215 in 20 overs.
Although the Super Giants got off to a decent start, they kept losing wickets regularly, making it harder to chase down the steep total put on the board. Rishabh Pant's torrid run in IPL 2025 continued, falling for a single-figure score. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult shared seven wickets between them to bowl LSG out for 161 in 20 overs.
With that, the Mumbai Indians have also climbed to the second position in the points table.
