Lucknow Super Giants' young batter Arshin Kulkarni made fellow teammate Nicholas Pooran say 'Jai Maharashtra' as they landed in Mumbai ahead of the IPL 2025 match against the Mumbai Indians on April 27, Sunday. In a video shared by the Super Giants on social media, Pooran loudly said, 'Jai Maharashtra'.
With 377 runs in IPL 2025, the West Indian batter is the second-highest run-getter this season. The left-hander has scored them at a strike rate of 204.89 and averages 47.12 alongside four half-centuries. However, Pooran has managed only 28 runs in the last three matches and would be hoping to get it right in the upcoming fixture.

An in-form Mumbai Indians' challenge awaits for the Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium
Although the Super Giants had defeated the Mumbai Indians at the Ekana International Stadium, the latter are coming off four consecutive victories this season, including two successive at home. With Rohit Sharma finding his feet in the last two matches against the Chennai Super Kings and SunRisers Hyderabad, blasting quick-fire half-centuries. The four consecutive victories have enabled them to rise to the third position in the points table.
Meanwhile, the Super Giants have been largely inconsistent, with Rishabh Pant at the forefront of it, having registered three ducks. A win over the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium will be a massive confidence-booster for their side.
