As Delhi Capitals prepare for a must-win fixture against Gujarat Titans in their final home game of IPL 2025, the mood in the nets has been a mix of intensity and light-hearted moments, one of which featured GT pacer Mohammed Siraj hilariously mimicking former South African skipper Faf du Plessis.

The Titans shared a short video on social media where Siraj, known for his fiery spells and occasional off-field antics, was seen keenly watching du Plessis fine-tune his power-hitting during practice. In a spontaneous moment of fun, Siraj decided to imitate the veteran batter’s signature stance, even pulling off a few shadow shots, complete with an imaginary pull. He wrapped up his brief act with an admiring remark: “Uff! Crazy man.”

Siraj has been a standout performer for Gujarat Titans this season, claiming 15 wickets from 11 matches. He currently ranks as GT’s second-highest wicket-taker, with an average of 24.60 and an economy rate of 9.00.

GT look to dash DC's playoffs hope

Gujarat Titans are second on the points table with 16 points from 11 games, are already in a strong position heading into the May 18 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Delhi Capitals, however, are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive, sitting on 13 points after their previous match against Punjab was abandoned. When these two teams last met, DC posted a formidable 203, only to see GT pull off a thrilling chase, powered by a masterclass from Jos Buttler.
