Team India pulled off a miracle in Manchester by drawing the 4th Test and keeping the series alive. There were many heroes with the bat in the second innings, which also included Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder not only smashed an unbeaten century (107 runs) but also stitched a crucial 203-run partnership with Washington Sundar, who also scored his maiden hundred in the format.

However, the most heart-touching moment came right after the draw s Jadeja was captured, bowing down and touching the pitch in gratitude after a brilliant knock.

Jadeja rewrites history books

The unbeaten century on the final day by Jadeja also saw him rewrite the history books. He became the first Indian batsman to score two Test centuries in England, while batting at number six or lower. The unbeaten century also helped him surpass MS Dhoni's tally of 349 runs, which came in the 2014 England tour

The 36-year-old also joined the likes of England's Wilfred Rhodes and Garfield Sobers to become the third player to score 1000 runs and register 30 wickets in an away country. Jadeja also completed 1000 runs in away Tests in England. So far, he has played 16 matches on English soil and has scored 1096 runs

Rishabh Pant Ruled Out of IND vs ENG 5th test

India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was on Sunday ruled out of the fifth and final Test against England after sustaining a fracture to his right foot on day one of the fourth match at the Old Trafford in Manchester. Tamil Nadu's N Jagadeesan has been named as his replacement.

The 27-year-old Pant retired hurt on 37 on the opening day of the Test in Manchester and went for scans after taking a blow to his right foot while attempting a reverse sweep off England pacer Chris Woakes. However, returned to bat after the fall of Shardul Thakur's wicket with India at 314/6 and went on to score an audacious fifty.
