Despite the ball change granted for Team India, visiting captain Shubman Gill was visibly unhappy over ball change and got into an animated argument with the umpire on day two of the third Test at Lord's. A video of the same surfaced on social media as the umpire seemingly tried to calm down the right-handed batter.

The Dukes Ball has been largely in focus in the series due to going softer and out of shape quickly. Hence, both teams' bowling units have been consistently requesting the umpires to change the ball. Despite the ball change by the umpire in the 97th over, Gill was likely upset, seemingly due to the new ball being softer than the previous. An over and a half later, the umpire abided by India's request for another ball change.
Jasprit Bumrah strikes thrice on morning of day two but England's total surge past 350
Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah was the only wicket-taker for Team India on day two of the Lord's Test, sending Ben Stokes (44), Joe Root (104) and Chris Woakes packing in the very first hour. Mohammed Siraj got Jamie Smith to nick off at slip but KL Rahul dropped a sharp chance.
Smith ensured to make the tourists pay for their mistake, making an unbeaten 51 off 53 deliveries with six boundaries. Brydon Carse has made a resolute 33 to stitch an unbroken 82-run stand between the two to take England to 353/7 at lunch.
England began the day at 251/4 but three quick wickets meant that their chances of reaching a strong first-innings total looked bleak then.
