Ex-world champion Drew McIntyre has taken a brutal dig at veteran commentator Michael Cole over praising John Cena as he gears up for the upcoming pay-per-view Elimination Chamber. With McIntyre set to partake in the Chamber match with Cena and four others, he presented Cole with a lip balm and said he will need it to kiss Cena's a**e.
McIntyre, whose return to WWE has been nothing less than mercurial, entered the SmackDown brand on February 7. The Scottish wrestler qualified for the Chamber match by defeating Jimmy Uso and LA Knight. CM Punk, Logan Paul, Damian Priest and Seth Rollins are the other competitors in the Chamber match.
Speaking during the latest episode of Smackdown, McIntyre accused Cole of being biased towards Cena and said:
"I know tomorrow, you’re gonna be on commentary. You’re gonna bury me. You’re gonna call me delusional, you’re gonna miss out key parts of the story to make me sound wrong when all I tell is the truth. Then your boy’s gonna come out there. You’re gonna get so excited. You’ll probably get on the table. Actually, you’ll be on the table on the table because they can’t shoot you below the table because you’ll get so excited out there. So if you’re gonna go that crazy for Cena, I got this lip balm for you. I’ll put it in your pocket right here. So if you’re gonna kiss his arse, at least use that first."
Drew McIntyre takes jibe at John Cena's 'bald spot'
McIntryre didn't hold back his rant against Cena either and stated:
"I can't help but wonder what would John Cena of 2010-11 would say about present-day John Cena. He would probably start off with some childish joke and would tear himself apart by going to Hollywood and turning his back in this industry, only returning for ego trips. To cap it all off, he would rip apart that giant a** bald spot on the back of his head that deserves its own area code."
