Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka recently found herself in hot water after making some controversial remarks following her loss to Coco Gauff in the 2025 French Open final. Sabalenka lost the match in three sets: 6–7, 6–2, 6–4.
After the match, Sabalenka said that Gauff didn’t win because she played incredible tennis, but because Sabalenka herself made too many mistakes over 70 unforced errors. These comments upset many fans and tennis experts, who felt she was being unfair to Gauff, who played with great focus and determination.

In an interview recently, Sabalenka regretted what she spoke earlier about Gauff. She admitted that Gauff handled the tough conditions better and deserved full credit for the win. Sabalenka said, “That was just completely unprofessional of me. I let my emotions get the better of me. I absolutely regret what I said back then. You know, we all make mistakes. I’m just a human being who’s still learning in life. I think we all have those days when we lose control. The difference with me is, the world is watching. I get a lot more hate for what I did than other people. I was super emotional and not very smart at that press conference.”
While some fans appreciated her honest apology, others felt it came a bit too late. Still, the issue seems to have settled down, and both players now look ahead to their next big challenge: Wimbledon 2025.
'I’m F***ing Tired Of You': Alexander Zverev Jokingly Reacts To Taylor Fritz’s Win At Stuttgart Open; Video
German tennis star Alexander Zverev had an emotional and dramatic moment after losing to American Taylor Fritz in the final of the Stuttgart Open on Sunday. Fritz defeated Zverev in straight sets, 6–3, 7–6(0), to win the title and extend his winning streak over Zverev to five matches in a row.
After the match, during the trophy ceremony, Zverev made a humorous but frustrated comment aimed at Fritz. He said, “Taylor, I’m f***ing tired of you. I don’t want to see you again over the next two to three years. Please stay away from me. Don’t come to Germany anymore.” The crowd laughed, but it was clear Zverev was disappointed with the result.
Zverev has now lost three finals in a row on grass courts. Meanwhile, Fritz continues to dominate their recent matches and is in excellent form heading into Wimbledon.
Zverev will now look to bounce back at the Halle Open, while Fritz will move on to Queen’s Club before playing at Wimbledon. Despite the tense moment, the rivalry between Zverev and Fritz adds excitement to the tennis season, and fans may see another showdown between the two soon.
