England players Harry Brook and Ben Duckett's comments against Ravindra Jadeja were caught on stump mic on day five of the third Test against England at the Lord's Cricket Ground. Their comments came before Jadeja staged a valiant rearguard that almost took India over the line in a gripping Test match at the Home of Cricket.

Jadeja came to the crease on day five after the 21st over of the innings when Jofra Archer cleaned up Rishabh Pant with a jaffa. The southpaw was still there at the crease when India crashed to 112/8 in pursuit of 193. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj tried their best to hang in but England made inroads to leave Jadeja stranded at 61. The hosts eventually won by 22 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.

In the video surfaced on Star Sports, Brook first said:

"Shouldn't he be in the side here, lads."

Duckett followed it up by claiming:

"How can he play? It seems he is not going to play that."

"I'm extremely proud" - Shubman Gill on India's lower-order fight

Speaking at the post-game presentation, the 25-year-old stated that he was extremely proud of how well India held off England's lower-order despite the 22-run defeat.

"I'm extremely proud, this is as close as a Test match can get. Five days of hard-fought cricket, comes down to the last session, last wicket. I'm extremely proud."

Gill also revealed that they didn't give any message to Ravindra Jadeja as he understood what needs to be done.

"He's very experienced. We didn't want to give him any message. He was batting brilliantly with the tail. Wanted him and the tail to bat as long as possible."

India and England will next travel to Manchester for the fourth Test, beginning on July 23.
