Indian Sports platform SportVot has joined hands with Mumbai-based English daily Free Press Journal (FPJ) to bring the spotlight to grassroots sports. FPJ Collaborates With SportVot as their official media partner as grassroots sports gets ready for its red carpet debut. SportVot plans to get audience onboard by not only live streaming local matches but also providing highlights videos and promoting emerging athletes of India.
This collaboration aims to foster sports journalism and promote grassroots sports, aligning with FPJ's commitment to community engagement and excellence in storytelling. The Free Press Journal (FPJ), a trusted name in Indian journalism, has been delivering credible news and insightful perspectives for over nine decades. With a physical readership of 1.75 lakh, more than 400,000 ePaper readers, and 12 million monthly website users. Known for its impactful initiatives like FPJ’s Cyber Secure and Eco Ganesha, FPJ is now expanding its horizons by tying up with SportVot.
How will SportVot plan work at the grassroot level?
SportVot will be using unique media technology to make local sports streaming more easy, cheap and accessible to the sports ecosystem, called the SportVot Broadcasting Suite. This technology enables these tournament organizers and clubs to make their tournaments fully digital right from producing multilingual interactive streams, automated highlights, and scoring to fixture management, which in turn assist these unique sports talent, and even tournaments, to get more support and visibility in the country.
SportVot recent venture
SportVot recently played an integral role in the Delhi Division Championship, a part of the Mewar Premier League. This franchise-based T20 cricket league is centred in Delhi NCR. The matches were held in the Delhi NCR from September 9 to 17, with two T20 matches played daily. The matches were captured via mobile, video, and automated cameras through SportVot, with editing quality on par with televised sports broadcasts.
