Team India keeper-batter Rishabh Pant was seemingly angry with the umpire after he refused to change the ball on day three of the first Test against England at the Headingley in Leeds. In a video surfaced on social media, the left-handed batter was seen throwing the ball towards the umpire in anger.

Despite losing Ollie Pope for 106 in the very second over of the day, Ben Stokes and Harry Brook were playing their shots freely and kept the runs coming. With Indian players seemingly frustrated due to the ball not doing anything, they consistently requested the umpires to change the ball. Although they ran the ball through the ring a few times, the umpires did not approve a change.
According to the rule, if the ball goes through the ring, umpires will not change the ball.

Rishabh Pant completes 150 dismissals in Test cricket
Meanwhile, Team India's vice-captain completed a massive milestone as far as his keeping statistics go, completing 150 dismissals in the format. The landmark came after Prasidh Krishna got Pope to nick off for 106. The southpaw took one more catch when Stokes edged one off Mohammed Siraj's bowling in the 65th over of the innings.
Despite those two scalps, Harry Brook continued to score freely as the home side went to lunch at 327/5 after beginning at 209/3. Brook notably got the second lifeline of his innings as Pant fluffed a tough chance behind the stumps off Ravindra Jadeja's bowling.
