Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah looms large as the first Test against England at the Headingley in Leeds heads for an exciting finish. Although England have chased a 370+ total against India in their backyard before, the tricky nature of the surface at the Headingley could pose problems for the hosts.
Although Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul made centuries, Team India suffered a collapse similar to that of first innings. After KL Rahul perished for 137, the tourists' batting unit fell like pack of cards, folding for 364, leaving the English to chase down 371.
Zak Crawley, who was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah cheaply in the first innings, survived until stumps late on day four. Crawley and Ben Duckett will once again be through a similar test and it will be vital for them to get through the first hour unscathed.

With England pacer Josh Tongue playing down any chances of a draw, Rahul also agreed and opined that England's style of playing gives India a strong chance of winning. Rahul said, as quoted by BBC Sport:
"There's definitely going to be a result. That's what England have said very openly and their style of cricket suggests that as well. It gives us a good opportunity to pick up 10 wickets. I agree with Josh Tongue."
