The Barcelona winger reached the milestone during the second leg of the 2024-25 semifinal against Inter Milan at the San Siro, netting his side’s third goal in the dramatic contest.
The Brazilian has now racked up 21 goal involvements 13 goals and 8 assists a new high for any Barcelona player in a single Champions League campaign. Just last week, he surpassed Lionel Messi’s previous club-best of 19 contributions (14 goals and 5 assists) from the 2011-12 season.
Raphinha's record now stands alongside that of Cristiano Ronaldo, who amassed 17 goals and 4 assists during Real Madrid’s victorious 2013-14 Champions League run. His tally also sees him edge past teammate Robert Lewandowski’s 21 contributions from Bayern Munich’s title-winning 2019-20 season.
