With Champions Trophy right around the corner Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shares a video on social media of newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore with showcasing its new look under lights. As they caption the post:
“Unveiling the stunning new-look Gaddafi Stadium! Under the lights, it's a sight to behold! ONE WORD to describe your excitement after seeing this breathtaking view? We can't wait to welcome fans, officials, and teams for the tri-nation series & #ChampionsTrophy.”

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has faced scrutiny over delays in renovating stadiums, with the January 31 deadline set by the ICC, concerns were raised about their preparedness. Meanwhile, ICC CEO Geoff Allardice has resigned from his position, reportedly due to multiple reasons, including his inability to clarify Pakistan's readiness as a host.
Before the tournament, Pakistan will host a tri-series including South Africa and New Zealand, starting from February 8 in Lahore and Karachi. This series will serve as a warm-up for all three teams. Also, Pakistan is yet to announce there squad for the Champions Trophy.

About ICC Champions Trophy 2025
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be hosted by Pakistan but India won’t be travelling to Pakistan; hence, they will play all their matches in Dubai. Pakistan-bound matches are scheduled to take place in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
Pakistan, the defending champions, won the 2017 edition by defeating India in the final.The tournament will kick off with Pakistan facing New Zealand in Lahore, while the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash is set for February 23 in Dubai.
For the knockout stage, if India qualifies for the semi-finals or final, those matches will be held in Dubai; otherwise, they will take place in Lahore. The final is scheduled for March 9.
