Mumbai : Fine bowling by Sashi Kadam helped Bandra Heroes ground Ghatkopar Jets by four wickets to record their second win in five outings in the Twister-Mitsui Shoji T-20 five-team league.
Sashi for his three for 15 off four overs and dogged batting when his team needed most, was adjudged the man-of-the-match.
Ghatkopar Jets, who opted to bat first, were never able to take advantage of good batting wicket and were dismissed for 138 with opener Shabun Shaikh and Ajikya Belose being the only batsmen to give some semblance of respectability to their total as the rest of the batting crumbled around them.
In reply, opener Mohan Raje (30) alongwith most of the Bandra Heroes batsmen saw them reached home with almost four overs to spare.
In the other tie, holders Mumbai Police Cityriders maintained their unbeaten run as they overcame some hiccups before beating Shivaji Park Warriors by four wickets.
