South African batter Dewald Brevis took Aaron Hardie to the cleaners in the third T20I against Australia at the Cazaly's Stadium in Cairns. The right-handed batter clobbered three no-look sixes off the right-arm medium bowler, leaving Australia and the commentators stunned. In the process, he also reached his half-century off only 22 deliveries.
The incident occurred in the 10th over of the innings and the second sent down by Hardie. Although the first two deliveries yielded only a couple of runs, the following deliveries were sent out of the fence. The third, fourth and fifth delivery were no-look sixes as the youngster pounded the ball mercilessly. The over also ended with a maximum as it went marginally over the fielder at cover.

Dewald Brevis was eventually dismissed by Nathan Ellis for 53 off 26 deliveries
The 22-year-old was successful in taking off from where he left in the second T20I but couldn't be as successful. Right-arm seamer Nathan Ellis deceived him with a slower short-pitched delivery outside off-stump. With Brevis trying to reach out for it, he slammed the ball over mid-wicket but Glenn Maxwell quickly got to it and took an outstanding catch, ending his stay at 53.
The second T20I against Australia in Darwin saw the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star hammer an unbeaten 125 off 66 deliveries, laced with 12 fours and eight towering sixes. It propelled South Africa's score to 218 in 20 overs and they eventually won by 53 runs to draw the three-game T20I series 1-1.
The coin toss fell in Australia's favour and captain Mitchell Marsh opted to field first at Cairns. The home side had won the first T20I by 17 runs. Australia and South Africa will also play three ODIs following the T20Is.
