When Will Sunita Williams And Barry Wilmore Return To Earth From ISS? NASA Confirms THIS Date - Details

Florida: Elon Musk-led SpaceX will launch the Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station on Wednesday, March 12, to bring back NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore. Notably, Williams and Wilmore were stranded on the International Space Station (ISS) for eight months.

Initially, Williams and Wilmore were set for an eight-day NASA mission aboard SpaceX's Boeing Starliner in June last year. Both the NASA scientists faced multiple delays in their return to the Earth.

Falcon 9’s launch of Dragon’s 10th operational human spaceflight mission (Crew-10) to ISS will launch NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 5:18 am. The Crew-10 Mission will launch with four astronauts - Anne McClain, Ayers Nichole Ayers, Takuya Onishi, and Kirill Peskov.

"On its flight to the International Space Station, Dragon executes a series of burns that position the vehicle progressively closer to the station before it performs final docking maneuvers, followed by pressurization of the vestibule, hatch opening, and crew ingress," the SpaceX said.

Before their departure, Williams and Wilmore will provide essential mission instructions to the new astronauts who will replace them. Williams and Wilmore will return on March 16, reported Dainik Jagran

Last week, US President Donald Trump said that he had authorised Elon Musk to bring back the American astronauts stuck on the ISS.

speaking to media persons at the Oval Office about the two astronauts on Friday, Trump said, "We love you (astronauts), and we're coming up to get you, and you shouldn't have been up there so long. The most incompetent President in our history has allowed that to happen to you, but this President won't let that happen. We're going to get them out. We're coming up to get you. I've authorized Elon, because, you know, they've been left up there. I hope they like each other. But they've been -- maybe they'll love each other. I don't know. They've been left up there."

Trump also blamed the previous Joe Biden administration for taking the initiative to bring back the astronauts.
