Holi in India

Different regions of the nation celebrate Holi in different ways, but the basic idea of the holiday is essentially the same. India celebrates Holi, a colorful and exuberant event that heralds the entrance of spring. People exchange joyful food, dance, sing, and toss colored powder. It represents togetherness, love, the triumph of light, and the triumph of good over evil. Communities come together to celebrate and have fun during Holi.

Holika Dahan, which is celebrated with ceremonies around a campfire, represents the triumph of good over evil. Consensually playing Holi and using natural colors are suggested.

This year, Holi 2025 celebrations will occur on March 13 and 14, starting with Holika Dahan and followed by Dhulivandan when people play colors.
