A fire erupted in a seven-storey building on Bhandarkar Road in Pune on Wednesday afternoon. The incident was reported to the fire brigade at 12:58pm. The fire originated in an office on the roof of the building.
Fire brigade personnel promptly arrived, ensured no one was trapped, and began spraying water on the blaze with a hose. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.
The building, which houses numerous offices, faced a potential disaster, but firefighters successfully contained the fire, preventing it from spreading further. Many workers were safely evacuated from the premises.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Fire officers Rajesh Jagtap, Gajanan Pathrudkar, and around 20 other personnel worked at the scene under the guidance of Fire Chief Devendra Potphode.
