A shocking murder case has come to light under the Vishrambaug Police Station jurisdiction in Pune, where a nearly 50-year-old man was killed by a youth for refusing sexual favours.
The body of an unidentified man, aged between 50 to 55 years, was found lying in a pool of blood in the parking area of a building opposite Mandai Metro Station on Wednesday.
The murderer has been identified as Ramesh Prakash Satre (21), a resident of Katard village, Rahuri taluka, Ahilyanagar district.

According to the police, upon receiving the alert, they rushed the injured man to Sassoon Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
After committing the crime, Ramesh hid at his brother's flat in Shirur. Acting on the information, a team from Crime Branch Unit 01 was immediately dispatched to Shirur, where they successfully apprehended the accused.
Shabbir Sayed, Senior Police Inspector (Crime Branch Unit -1), speaking to The Free Press Journal, said, "Initial investigation suggests that the murder was committed due to a dispute stemming from an unnatural relationship between the victim and the accused. The accused was demanding sexual favours. However, an argument occurred between them over the opposition."
"Ramesh attacked the victim with a sharp knife to the neck, leading to his death due to excessive blood loss. The deceased has not been identified yet. However, the accused belongs to Ahilyanagar and came to Pune 3–4 months ago in search of a job. Furthermore, the matter is under investigation," he added.
Following the incident, a case of murder was registered under IPC Section 103(1) of BNS at Vishrambaug Police Station.
