Pune: In a shocking incident reported from Pune's Wanwadi area, a man identified as Nikhil Pushparaj Khanna, a builder involved in property deals, tragically died after being punched in the face by his wife, Renuka Nikhil Khanna, during a family dispute. The police have detained Renuka for questioning.
The couple had an argument
The couple, married for six years, had a heated argument on Friday afternoon that escalated into a physical confrontation. The couple had an argument after Nikhil did not take Renuka to Dubai for the celebration of her birthday and also did not give expensive gifts on her birthday and wedding anniversary, as reported by ANI. Renuka was furious over Nikhila as he did not allow her to visit Delhi to celebrate the birthdays of few of her relatives earlier.
Renuka punched Nikhil in the face
In a fit of anger, Renuka punched Nikhil in the face, causing him to lose consciousness. Nikhil's teeth and nose were left broken and started bleeding heavily after he was punched on the face by his wife. Upon discovering his condition, family members rushed him to a private hospital, but doctors declared him deceased before treatment could commence.
Wife arrested and case registered
The Wanwadi police have initiated an investigation into the matter. Renuka has been arrested and a case has been registered against her under section 302 of IPC.
