A shocking incident of suicide has come to light from the Sahakar Nagar jurisdiction, where a 35-year-old married woman ended her life after being driven to frustration by the constant and disruptive noise made by her brother-in-law's children in Pune.
The incident took place on May 9. However, regarding the matter, a case was registered in Sahakar Nagar Police Station on May 31.
The accused have been identified as Ujjwala Sanjay Bagav, Yogesh Sanjay Bagav, Vaishali Sanjay Bagav, and Suvarna Sanjay Bagav.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Varsha Tukaram Randive (35). Regarding the matter, her husband Tukaram Namdev Randive has lodged a police complaint.
Accused Ujjwala is the sister of Tukaram and resided on the first floor of Tukaram's house with her married son Yogesh and his family. Between them, disputes always occurred due to the noise created by Yogesh’s children while playing at home. Varsha had opposed them many times to stop the unbearable noise. Frustrated from the ongoing noise, she had earlier also lodged a police complaint. However, this time she lost her control and committed suicide by hanging herself. Rahul Gaud, speaking to the Free Press Journal, said, “We have arrested the main accused Ujjwala and Yogesh and are investigating the matter. However, so far, the noise created by the children appears to be the cause behind the suicide.” Under the relevant sections, a case has been registered and accordingly, action will be taken.
