In a shocking case, an accused escaped from a police station in Nashik after pushing a cop and running away in a dramatic manner.
Krish Shinde, arrested for a fatal attack under Bhadrakali Police Station limits, had been sent to four days in police custody after his court hearing. But in a sudden moment, he leaped and escaped just like the movie character 'Krrish'.
The incident, in which Krish Shinde ran away, took place on the night of April 29, and CCTV footage of the accused fleeing is now available. The video also shows a two-wheeler driver who helped the accused escape.
The dramatic visuals show the accused fleeing quickly as he sat as a pillion rider in a filmy style. A man, believed to be a cop in civil clothes, ran behind him but fell while running. Later footage showed several cops running behind and a few leaving on bikes.

Held after 12 hours
Bhadrakali Police Station has registered a case regarding this incident. The station’s officer, Changlich Bhamberi, released the footage only after confirming that the accused had indeed escaped.
Meanwhile, the Bhadrakali Police continued their investigation until midnight. However, Krish Shinde was not found anywhere, prompting calls for his immediate arrest. The Bhadrakali Police had to carry out a continuous investigation to trace the escaped accused. Finally, after studying the crime pattern in detail, he was arrested in the Kasara Ghatforest after 12 hours. The action was taken by the Bhadrakali Crime Investigation Team.
