In great news for tourists, a grand three-day state-level tourism festival, the Mahabaleshwar Mahaparyatan Mahotsav 2025, has kicked off in Mahabaleshwar from May 2 to 4.

What it offers
More than a hundred tents have been set up in Mahabaleshwar on the lines of Kutch in Gujarat. Tourists will be able to enjoy adventure sports and water sports in Venna Lake. A special seminar of tourism industry experts, travel agents, and guides from across the country will also be organized. There will also be a special presentation on the historical importance of forts and their contribution to tourism.
A special cultural procession will be taken out on May 3, 2025, at Dr. Sabne Road in Mahabaleshwar. In this festival, tourists will be able to taste the traditional food culture of every part of the state. Also, before the closing ceremony on May 4, 2025, various traditional folk arts of Maharashtra such as Lavani, Gondal, Jagar, Nashik Dhol, etc., will be presented. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will be present at the closing ceremony of the festival.
