Jalgaon District Collector's Office Secures Second Place In 100-Day 'Office Reforms' Campaign

Jalgaon District Collector's Office has secured second place in the interim evaluation of the 100-day "Office Reforms" special campaign, aimed at making the administration in the state more transparent, dynamic, and people-oriented.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis felicitated Jalgaon District Collector Ayush Prasad with a special congratulatory letter in Mumbai on Friday. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, and Chief Secretary of the state Sujata Saunik were also present.

After assuming office, Devendra Fadnavis announced a 100-day program to make the administration in the state more dynamic and people-oriented. The program emphasised administrative reforms, transparent and dynamic implementation of administration, improvement of citizen service facilities, empowerment of grievance redressal mechanisms, and the development of digital administration by effectively using new technology. It also included implementing an updated training program for officers and employees, improving the administration's website, and providing online services to citizens.

The Jalgaon district administration strictly implemented all the elements outlined in the administration reform program, yielding remarkable results. This success has led to Jalgaon district emerging as a model for the entire state. The special campaigns carried out by District Collector Ayush Prasad were considered in the evaluation, leading to the Jalgaon District Collectorate securing second place in the state.

In a conversation with the Free Press Journal, District Collector Ayush Prasad credited this success to focusing on basic matters.
