Aurangabad: District Mines Department Announces Sand Availability For Gharkul Scheme, Residents, And Projects

The buyers can register their demand for sand at the Setu Kendra at the district collectorate premises, all the tehsil offices, and other 145 Suvidha Kendras in the district.

The District Mines department has declared the availability of sand for Gharkul Scheme beneficiaries, residents, private projects, and government works in the district. Currently, 61,077.01 brass of sand are available in the five sand depots in the district. The beneficiaries can obtain the sand by registering their demand and paying the required fees. Similarly, the beneficiaries of the Gharkul scheme will get 5 brass of sand free of cost, informed the district mines officer, Kishor Ghodke.

The buyers can register their demand for sand at the Setu Kendra at the district collectorate premises, all the tehsil offices, and other 145 Suvidha Kendras in the district. They can register their needs as per their requirements. They will have to pay the registration fee of Rs 25 for registering the demand and must produce their ration card, Aadhar card, Gharkul certificate, and construction certificate along with the application. A mobile number will be mandatory as they will receive an OTP on it.

Each family can get 10 brass of sand at a time. If they need more, they will have to register again after one month of receiving the sand. The transportation charges will be borne by the persons who have registered for the sand. The vehicle to be used for transportation should be registered on the Mahakhanij Website, and it must have the AIS-140 (RNSS) certified GPS system. Further information can be obtained at the mines department at the district collectorate premises.

Presently, the Brahmagaon, Paithan sand depot for residents has 3,590 brass of sand, and the per brass booking rate is Rs 2,022.02. In Hiradpuri, Paithan – 10,600 brass for Gharkul beneficiaries, 23,859.08 brass for residents, 10,600 brass for private projects, and 7,950.06 brass for government works. The booking price per brass is Rs 807.02. Gevrai Gungi, Phulambri – 2,019.24 brass for residents, and the booking fees per brass is Rs 1,572.02.

Mondha, Sillod – 159.11 brass for Gharkul beneficiaries, 899.49 brass for residents, and the booking fees per brass is Rs 2,454.02.

Dag Pimpalgaon, Vaijapur – 1,407.17 brass for residents, and booking fees per brass is Rs 1,311.02.

In total, 10,759.19 brass for Gharkul beneficiaries, 31,767.68 brass for residents, 10,600.08 brass for private projects, and 7,950.06 brass for government works are available in the district.
