Since there is no complicated procedure at the time of marriage, the number of marriages registered is increasing, informed Marriage Registration Officer Sangeeta Jadhav.

Meanwhile, pre-registration was done at the city marriage registration office about one and a half months ago to get married on February 14.
If there is no objection within a few days, the bride and groom can get married in front of the authorities in the presence of three witnesses. Arrangements are also made by the Sub-Registrar Office to issue the marriage certificate immediately. Accordingly, on Friday (February 14), there was a huge crowd at the Marriage Registration Office at the Government Printing Office (Photozinco) to get married through the registration method.
