New Delhi: Rekha Gupta of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was sworn in as Delhi's Chief Minister on Thursday, February 20, in a grand ceremony held at Ramlila Maidan. Gupta, a first-time MLA from Shalimar Bagh, has become the fourth woman to hold the position in Delhi.
Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena administered the oath of office to Gupta and her six cabinet ministers: Parvesh Verma, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravindra Kumar Indraj, Pankaj Kumar Singh, Kapil Mishra, and Ashish Sood.

Parvesh Verma
Income: In the fiscal cycle 2023-2024, Verma accrued an income of Rs 19,68,34,100 as per his ITR filing. His spouse Swati Singh, had an income of Rs 91,99,560 in fiscal year 2022-2023.

Assets: Mishra and his wife, at the time of the affidavit, had a gross total of Rs 2,94,700 movable assets including jewellery and a Toyota Hyrider worth Rs 15,00,000.
The couple has gold jewellery weighing 50 grams, worth Rs 4,05,000. In addition, their immovable assets in the form of residential apartment in Ghaziabad cost Rs 49,00,000. They're self-acquired assets cost Rs 80,00,000.
Liabilities: Mishra has total liabilities of Rs 19,28,758, including loans from banks and financial institutions; his spouse, Rs 29,28,758.
Ashish Sood
Income: In the fiscal cycle 2023-2024, Sood accrued an income of Rs 17,44,990, as per his ITR filing. His spouse Anupam Sood, had an income of Rs 25,47,660 in the same fiscal year.
Assets: Sood and his spouse, at the time of the affidavit, had Rs 47,938 and Rs 8,320 cash in hand, respectively.
