Mumbai: In a major announcement that has caught the attention of the global creative community, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting confirmed via a post on X on Wednesday that WAVES 2025, the World Audio-Visual and Entertainment Summit with its core focus on growth, collaboration, and innovation, will be held in Mumbai from May 1 to 4.

Recently, at a joint press conference, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis shared exciting details about the summit. CM Fadnavis emphasised the significance of the event, announcing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also grace the summit.

Described as a first-of-its-kind event in India, WAVES 2025 will bring together artists, innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world. The summit will spotlight India’s growing influence in the global creative and entertainment industries.
