VIDEO: Mumbai Police Conducts 'Drug Free Mumbai' Awareness Rallies & Campaigns Across City

Mumbai: On Thursday, Mumbai Police held awareness rallies across the city as part of the “Drug-Free Mumbai” campaign on Thursday. These rallies were organised to mark June 26, International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

In a video shared by Mumbai Police, students were seen holding banners with messages like “Say No to Drugs”. Many students, local people, and police officers joined the campaign, walking together to spread awareness about the dangers of drug use and trafficking.

Mumbai Police shared on social media (X), "India’s strong fight against drugs is part of the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ campaign, started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah."

They also mentioned that, under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the “Drugs-Free Maharashtra” campaign is progressing strongly. Mumbai Police is supporting this mission through its own “Drug-Free Mumbai” campaign. Together, they sent a clear message of "Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs."

In other news story from Mumbai, the Police, NCB Organise Cyclothon from Bandra to Juhu to support a Drug-Free India ahead of June 26. In a strong show of unity and awareness, a special cyclothon was held in Mumbai on Sunday as part of the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Pandharwada’ campaign. The event took place just before the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26.

The cyclothon was organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) along with the Mumbai Police and saw great participation from over 450 cyclists of all ages and genders. The ride started at the Bandra Reclamation Bus Depot and ended at Juhu Beach. Its goal was to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthy way of living.
