Mumbai: Mumbai's much-anticipated underground Metro Line 3 has begun operations on select stations as part of Phase 2A. This newly operational stretch, inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, runs from Aarey JVLR to Acharya Atre Station. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), Mumbai Metro Line 3 has issued a quick and convenient guide to help commuters navigate the new route.

In a recent update shared via an official social media post, Mumbai Metro Line 3 authorities provided detailed information about the entry and exit points at various stations, including those currently open and temporarily closed. At Acharya Atre Station, several access points are available for commuters.

Open entry and exit points include:

B5 – Near the Consulate General of the Republic of South Korea

A4 – Located at Mahanagar Palika Yantragarh Bus Stop

A3 – Adjacent to Konark Express (also equipped with a lift for accessibility)

However, some exits are temporarily closed for maintenance or other operational reasons:

A1 – MCGM Engineering Hub

A2 – MCGM Worli Engineering Hub

B1 – Konark Express

B2 – Acharya Atre Chowk

B3 – Atria Mall

B4 – RTO, Regional Transport Office - Worli

About Mumbai Metro Line 3:

Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line, is a 33.5-kilometre underground corridor connecting Colaba in South Mumbai to SEEPZ in the north, with a total of 27 stations. The operational Phase 2A covers a 9.77 km stretch featuring key stations like Dadar, Siddhivinayak, Dharavi, Sitaladevi, Worli, and Acharya Atre.

A major highlight of this phase is the engineering feat of constructing a tunnel beneath the Mithi River between Dharavi and BKC. This new development is expected to ease traffic congestion and offer a faster, more efficient commuting option across Mumbai.
