Muktainagar (Maharashtra): A shocking incident has come to light from the Sant Muktai Yatra in Kothali village, Muktainagar in Jalgaon, where miscreants allegedly attempted to harass the daughter of Union Minister Raksha Khadse and her friends. The minister has demanded immediate action against the accused and based on a complaint filed by her security personnel, Muktainagar police have registered a case against four youths.

According to reports, Minister Raksha Khadse’s security personnel had accompanied her family to witness the yatra in Kothali village. During the event, they noticed a group of young men suspiciously recording videos of the minister’s family. Acting on this suspicion, the security personnel confiscated the mobile phone of one of the youths and checked its contents. This led to a confrontation, with the four accused allegedly engaging in a scuffle with the security personnel.

Expressing her outrage, Minister Raksha Khadse demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the harassment. She personally visited the Muktainagar police station to press for strict action against the accused. During discussions with the police, she questioned, “If such incidents can happen even under high security, what is the fate of ordinary girls?” Her remarks have raised concerns about the safety of women in the state and the government's stance on tackling such crimes.

Khadse's Daughter Was Followed By Unknown Man

The Sant Muktai Yatra is a major religious event held on Mahashivratri, attracting thousands of devotees and featuring various cultural programs. Minister Khadse’s daughter had been distributing refreshments at the event when she reportedly noticed a young man, identified as Bhoi, stalking her.

Later in the evening, when she went for a stroll with her friends, the same man, accompanied by others, followed her persistently. The situation escalated further when the accused boarded the same amusement ride as her and continued filming her activities.

The minister’s security personnel intervened upon noticing the harassment and confronted the youth. However, this led to a physical altercation between the accused and the security guard. The police are currently investigating the matter and further action is awaited.
