Shiv Sena leader and Industries Minister Uday Samant sensationally claimed on Thursday that at least four MLAs, three MPs, ten ex-MLAs of the Shiv Sena UBT, and five MLAs from the Congress will soon join the Deputy CM Eknath Shindeled Shiv Sena.

He also claimed that the first phase of the party crossover will take place on Friday. Samant spoke with the media persons after returning from Davos where he participated in the World Economic Forum along with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Refuting the claims made by Shiv Sena UBT MP Sanjay Raut and Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar that he may join the BJP along with a group of the Sena MLAs, Samant said those who have lost their political existence were talking like this.

“Such statements would not create a gap between the relations between me and Deputy CM Shinde,” he added. “A few former MLAs from Ratnagiri will join the Shiv Sena tomorrow. I challenge the Sena UBT leaders to prevent those who wanted to join our party,” said the minister.
