Mumbai Shocker: Newborn's Body Found Inside Trash Bin At Mumbai Airport's Terminal 2; Probe Underway

A newborn's body was found in a toilet at Mumbai Airport. The body was recovered from a trash bin at the airport's Terminal 2.

Mumbai: A newborn's body was found in a toilet at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Maharaj International Airport. The body was recovered from a toilet trash bin at Mumbai Airport's Terminal 2 at around 10:30 pm on Tuesday. The police was then informed.

The newborn was rushed to a hospital. However, doctors declared the baby brought dead. A case has been filed against unidentified person.

A probe has been ordered into the matter. The police are scanning CCTVs installed at the airport's Terminal T2 to identify the accused.

As per a report by News18, the body was sent to Cooper Hospital. Mumbai police have taken over the investigation, but Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) will soon release a statement in the issue.

Two Newborns Found dead And Abandoned In Thane District:

Earlier in February this year, two newborn children were found dead and abandoned in Maharashtra's Thane district. A 32-week-old newborn girl was found dead, abandoned by the roadside in a garbage heap in Bhiwandi. She was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. Meanwhile, another newborn baby boy was found dead, abandoned on the roof of a window grill in a building in Thane city.
