Shocking! Mumbai Man Blackmails Businessman Friend, Demands ₹30 Lakh & Sexual Favours From His Wife

A businessman from Mumbai's Powai area was allegedly blackmailed by his friend for Rs 80 lakh. The accused also demanded sexual favours from businessman's wife.

Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a businessman from Mumbai's Powai area was allegedly blackmailed by his friends not only for Rs 80 lakh but also demanded sexual favours from the victim's wife. The accused, John Pereira, claimed to have businessman's compromising videos and objectionable pictures of his wife and her friends, reported News18.

The accused reportedly made WhatsApp calls to the victim to blackmail him. Pereira threatened the businessman to share these photos with his family, friends, and colleagues on social media if his demands were not fulfilled, reported News18. The couple were harassed for six months, from August 2024 to January 2025.

However, the victim finally approached the police and lodged a police complaint against the Pereira. The incident was reported to the Powai Police Station. Based on the complaint, a case was registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The case has reportedly been transferred to the DN Nagar Police. A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter. The police have not yet arrested the accused.
