Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde on Thursday slammed those raising questions at Operation Sindoor, India’s military action against Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, and said Leader Of Opposition & Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is acting like a “Pakistani agent."
Addressing party workers at the Shiv Sena's 59th foundation day event at NSCI Dome in Worli, Shinde hit out at those criticising Operation Sindoor, calling their remarks “equivalent to treason."
“We are proud of Operation Sindoor. These people doubt our Army; they don’t trust our forces but believe the Army chief of Pakistan instead. Instead of saluting the bravery of our soldiers, they’re asking about the damage to our weapons. Raising such questions is equal to treason. They are acting like Pakistani agents — Rahul Gandhi and others," Shinde said.
“Those who are questioning our armed forces and asking how many jets we lost — are you speaking Pakistan’s language?" he added.
Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray also addressed party workers
commemorating the 59th foundation day of the undivided Shiv Sena.
“Come on kill me, if you want to kill me, come ahead- but bring an ambulance with you. You may come on your feet, but you’ll leave in an ambulance,” Thackeray said, concluding his speech amid loud cheers and applause.
