The Panvel Municipal Corporation, in collaboration with the All India Marathi Natya Parishad – Panvel Branch, is organizing an eight-day free acting workshop in Kharghar starting from June 30.
The workshop will be held at Ramseth Thakur Public School and will offer participants a chance to train under renowned theatre and cinema experts. "The initiative, aims to nurture local talent by providing professional training in acting completely free of cost," said an official.
The workshop will be conducted in three sessions daily – from 9 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 4 pm, and 5 pm to 8 pm. Participants are grouped into two age categories: 8 to 16 years, and 16 to 60 years, with 30 participants per group. Sessions will run across two daily batches for the duration of eight days.
The program will conclude with a valedictory function on July 7, where all participants will receive certificates of participation. The final day will also feature performances by the trainees, showcasing the skills they have developed during the workshop.
