Panvel Municipal Corporation Extends Short Film Contest Deadline To August 31; Prizes Worth ₹3.75 Lakh Announced

The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has extended the registration deadline for its short film competition titled ‘Progressive Panvel’ till August 31. The contest aims to highlight Panvel’s development journey through creative storytelling.

Panvel: The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has extended the registration deadline for its short film competition titled ‘Progressive Panvel’ till August 31. The contest aims to highlight Panvel’s development journey through creative storytelling.

Competition Celebrates PMC’s 10th Anniversary Through Film

As PMC prepares to enter its 10th anniversary year on October 1, the competition invites filmmakers and citizens to showcase Panvel’s progress through short films ranging between 10 to 15 minutes, in Marathi, Hindi, or English. The central theme must be based on ‘Progressive Panvel.’

The competition is open to all, and participants must register via email at shortfilmpmc@gmail.com. Detailed terms and conditions will be shared with registered entrants.

20 Cash Awards Totaling Rs 3.75 Lakh; Best Film to Get Rs 1 Lakh

A total of 20 prizes worth Rs 3.75 lakh will be awarded. The Best Film will receive Rs 1 lakh in cash, along with a certificate and trophy. The second and third prizes carry cash awards of Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.

Two consolation prizes of Rs 25,000 each will also be awarded. Additionally, five films will receive Rs 10,000 each and ten films will get Rs 5,000 each as special recognition. In celebration of PMC’s 10th anniversary, ten additional awards will also be presented.
