Thane: The family members of three individuals from Dombivli—Atul Mone, Sanjay Lele, and Hemant Joshi—who were killed in the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, have expressed feelings of relief and satisfaction over the destruction of Pakistani terrorist hideouts under Operation Sindoor.
Harshal Lele, son of Sanjay Lele, said, "I received a message from my friend on Wednesday 2:30 AM about a strike in Pakistan. My father and two uncles were among the 26 people killed in the Pahalgam attack in Kashmir. They would now rest in peace after this retaliation."
Harshal added emotionally, "There shouldn’t be just one attack. We must continue to eliminate terrorists from their bases and routes. I agree with the Indian government’s press release, which stated that this is just the beginning. A total of nine missiles were launched, and all terrorist assets should be destroyed. Pakistan won’t change, and such operations must continue. Even after we retaliated twice, they dared to strike again—this time targeting tourists and killing mostly Hindus."
Anushka Mone, the wife of Atul Mone, who was also killed in the Pahalgam attack, expressed satisfaction with the Indian Army’s response. Speaking to the media about Operation Sindoor, she said, "After the strike in Pakistan, I felt a sense of peace and satisfaction. Those who died in Pahalgam would have now rest in peace."
She continued, "I trusted Prime Minister Modi's government to respond. Operation Sindoor has been launched, and it is just the beginning of our revenge. The terror routes must be eliminated. I support the nation wholeheartedly." Reflecting on her loss, she added, "Atul Mone will never return to us, but our family has found peace through this action. It’s a good step."
Rucha Mone, also from Dombivli and the daughter of Atul Mone, said she felt relieved upon hearing about the Indian Army’s attack on Pakistani terror camps using nine missiles. "I’m happy that India has taken action. Operation Sindoor is a success. It has just begun, and I hope it continues until we eliminate terrorism," she said emotionally.
Jayant Bhave, the father-in-law of Hemant Joshi, stated, "The Indian government took the right step early in the morning. I’ve been waiting for such a response. This operation is a true tribute to the three people we lost. The terrorists responsible must be punished. This mission will certainly help reduce terrorism."
In response to the strike, a group of women took to the streets holding 'sindoor' and placards reading "Operation Sindoor Successful," "Pahalgam Halla Ka Badla," along with a photo of PM Modi. They chanted slogans like "Sun Le Bachcha Pakistan, Tera Baap Hindustan."

Meanwhile, Rajesh More, MLA from Kalyan Rural representing the Shivsena (Shinde faction), expressed his satisfaction and distributed sweets following the strike. Firecrackers were also seen in Dombivli after the operation.
