Navi Mumbai Police Welfare Job Fair 2025: 386 Candidates Secure Job Offers In First-Ever Initiative For Police Personnel's Families

In a first-of-its-kind initiative by the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate to provide employment opportunities to the wards of serving, retired, and deceased police officers and personnel, the Police Welfare Job Fair saw an enthusiastic response, with 386 candidates securing job offers.

Navi Mumbai: In a first-of-its-kind initiative by the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate to provide employment opportunities to the wards of serving, retired, and deceased police officers and personnel, the Police Welfare Job Fair saw an enthusiastic response, with 386 candidates securing job offers.

Held on Tuesday at Agri Koli Bhavan in Nerul, the event marked a significant milestone in police welfare initiatives. The fair was organized under the guidance of Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Milind Bharambe and aimed to support the families of police personnel by helping their children gain meaningful employment.

“Out of 2,613 registered candidates, 780 attended the fair in person, which included both experienced job seekers and freshers. A total of 99 companies from Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai participated in the event, offering a variety of roles across different sectors,” said ACP Ajay Landge from Navi Mumbai Crime Branch.

As part of the proceedings, Minister of State for Home (Urban) Yogesh Kadam handed over appointment letters to 9 selected candidates in a symbolic gesture, while the remaining 377 successful applicants received their offer letters after on-the-spot interviews conducted by the participating companies.

Additionally, 222 candidates were shortlisted for the second, third, and fourth rounds of interviews. These interviews are scheduled to be held over the next 15 days, and approximately 25% of these candidates are expected to receive final job offers.

Navi Mumbai police Commissioner Bharambe and senior officers including Joint Commissioner Sanjay Yenpure and Additional Commissioner Deepak Sakore were present at the event.
