The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has officially announced the eligibility criteria for the post of Pharmacist/Drug Manufacturing Officer as part of its 2025 direct recruitment drive. A total of 620 posts across 30 categories are being filled through TCS, including 12 posts specifically for the Pharmacist/Drug Manufacturing Officer category.

Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has officially announced the eligibility criteria for the post of Pharmacist/Drug Manufacturing Officer as part of its 2025 direct recruitment drive. A total of 620 posts across 30 categories are being filled through TCS, including 12 posts specifically for the Pharmacist/Drug Manufacturing Officer category.

According to NMMC, the recruitment process will follow the “Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Services (Service Entry and Classification of Services) Rules, 2021,” which were approved by the Urban Development Department under a government resolution dated March 30, 2021, and came into effect upon publication in the Maharashtra Government Gazette on April 9, 2021.

As per these approved guidelines, candidates applying for the Pharmacist/Drug Manufacturing Officer post through 100% direct recruitment must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university.

They are also required to possess a valid registration certificate issued by the Maharashtra Pharmacy Council in accordance with the Maharashtra Pharmacy Act, 1948.

Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a medical store. Furthermore, knowledge of the Marathi language is mandatory for eligibility.

The NMMC has emphasized that these qualifications are strictly in accordance with the government-sanctioned recruitment rules, and candidates must ensure they fulfill all specified requirements before applying.

It has also been clarified that the eligibility criteria for other posts included in the recruitment drive have similarly been defined based on the government-approved service entry rules. Candidates are encouraged to refer to the official recruitment advertisement and government notifications for complete details.
