After four years of development, the city’s first elevated nature trail walkway at Malabar Hill was opened to the public on Sunday.

The BMC, in an X post on Sunday, shared a video and stated, "The 'Elevated Nature Trail' is now open to the public, offering Mumbaikars a unique elevated path through the treetops."

This 'Elevated Nature Trail,' inspired by Singapore's 'Tree Top Walk,' has been developed amidst the lush greenery of Kamla Nehru Park and Firozeshah Mehta Garden at Malabar Hill in Mumbai, said the BMC.

The walkway offers visitors an elevated stroll with breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline and the iconic Girgaon Chowpatty below.

The entry ticket for Indian citizens has been set at Rs. 25, while foreigners will be charged Rs. 100.

The walkway has been developed by the BMC's Hydraulic Engineering Department.

The 485-meter-long and 2.4-meter-wide wooden pathway is designed to offer an immersive experience in nature. "A special feature of the trail is the 'Sea Viewing Deck,' where one can soak in breathtaking panoramic views of the Mumbai coastline," said a civic official.
