Mumbai: The City of Dreams has been experiencing heavy rains for the past few days. Today, the weather is anticipated to be warm and cloudy. Fewer regions have faced light to moderate rainfalls, while today, the reports indicate yellow alert in Mumbai and the Kokan region in Maharashtra.

The city and its suburbs have experienced heavy rains over the past few days, with forecasts indicating continued heavy precipitation in the next 24 hours. The monsoon has arrived early in 2025, having commenced on June 19, and is expected to persist on June 20. Temperatures will range from a minimum of 25-27°C to a maximum of 30-32°C, with average temperatures for June being 28-31°C. Humidity will remain high at around 80%-90%, contributing to an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Expected weather conditions include scattered thunderstorms over the upcoming days, with steady temperatures between 27°C and 29°C. This pattern is predicted to persist from Friday into the following week, with similar chances of thunderstorms each day. Overall, the weather remains humid and warm, typical for this season in Mumbai, with intermittent rainfall across the forecast period.

Mumbai is experiencing light rain with a temperature of 28°C. The precipitation is at 35%, and humidity levels are high at 82%, with winds blowing at 27 km/h. The forecast throughout the day shows consistent temperatures around 28-29°C, with minor fluctuations.

Winds will blow from the southwest at 10-20 km/hr, with occasional gusts up to 40 km/hr. The sky will be mostly cloudy, with some brief periods of sunshine possible. A high tide of 3.40 m is expected at 06:30 am, leading to potential waterlogging, particularly in low-lying areas like Hindmata and Sion.

Rain may disrupt rail and road transport, and travel through these areas is discouraged. Advisories recommend carrying umbrellas or waterproof clothing, and farmers should align their activities with the weather forecast. For updates, refer to the India Meteorological Department or local authorities. Avoid going to the beach during high tide.
