Mumbai: A two-year-old girl died recently when one of her neighbours accidentally fell on her, police said on Tuesday. The incident occurred on January 2 in Juhu.

About The Incident

Vidhi Agrahari was playing alone near her house. Nearby, her neighbours Harshad Gurav alias Pappu, 20, and Shanwaz Ansari, 25, were engaged in playful antics. During their play, Gurav accidentally lost his balance and fell on the girl, causing her to sustain severe injuries.

Her family rushed her to Cooper Hospital, but despite the doctors’ efforts, she was pronounced dead on January 4. On January 5, the Juhu police registered a case against Gurav for allegedly causing death by negligence.
