Mumbai: Tesla is set to open showrooms in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and in Delhi. The Mumbai showroom will be located at Maker Maxity, with a monthly rental cost of approximately Rs. 35 lakh, while the Delhi showroom will occupy a space of 4,000 square feet in Aerocity at a monthly rent of Rs. 25 lakh.
The Mumbai showroom will cover over 3,000 square feet on the ground floor of a commercial tower and is anticipated to have one of the highest rental costs in the area as reported by Hindustan Times. This rental agreement is reported to be among the largest in the automotive industry to date.
The space will also include several car parking spots. BKC is recognized as the country's most expensive commercial real estate hub. Sources have indicated that the specific details of the rental agreement are currently not available. An email has been sent to Maker Maxity for confirmation of these details as per media reports.
