Mumbai: A shocking incident has come forward where a 19-year-old teen has been detained for the murder of his teen boyfriend following claims from the father of his 16-year-old partner that the suspect contaminated a beverage, leading to the minor's death from poisoning. Authorities are currently awaiting the forensic report to substantiate the claim.
As per police sources, the father of the victim has stated in his report that the teenager went for a walk on June 29. When he failed to come back that evening, a search was initiated. The following day, a friend of the victim informed his family that he had gone to the accused's residence the previous day.

When the victim's relatives arrived at the offender's residence, they discovered the teenager in bed with the accused beside him. After unsuccessful attempts to rouse him, a doctor was summoned, and it was verified that the 16-year-old had passed away. The inquiry showed that the suspect provided a cold beverage to the victim, who then began to vomit and subsequently passed away. The case is pending the forensic report.
A case was filed based on the complaint of the victim's father. The complaint states that the defendant transported the victim to Nagpur approximately four months ago without notifying his family. When he came back, the victim's parents requested that he keep his distance from the accused.
The victim subsequently ceased all communication and meetings with the accused. Distressed by this, the suspect planned the killing, asked the victim over to his house, and provided him with the tainted beverage, authorities believe. The suspect has been apprehended, and authorities are awaiting the forensic analysis to continue with the investigation.
